Whether it’s community themed, a special grid-wide promotion, or something that would otherwise be enjoyed by our readers, the Lionheart Times wants to hear about it! Leave your tip (anonymously, if you wish) as a comment here. No matter how trivial or earth-shattering it may seem, these ideas are what keep a newspaper (and a community) going strong, so don’t be shy!
Some Tips for submitting your Tips:
- Try to answer the “five W’s”: Who, What, When, Where, and Why (and that sixth guy How that shows up from time to time).
- Posts in ALL CAPS are likely to be disregarded. The same goes for lazy “text speak” abbreviations.
- If the statement you make is your opinion, state that it’s your opinion.
- If the statement you make is fact, make sure you check your facts and can back them up.
- Don’t use photos that you didn’t take, or graphics that you didn’t make, unless you’re absolutely certain you have permission. Finding them on Google Image Search is not permission. Exceptions are made for public-domain sites such as I Can Haz Cheezburger.
- Before you hit that “submit” button, go over your post once more and check for typos, spelling errors, and grammatical errors. The less editing I have to do, the sooner your story can be seen by everyone.
- By posting here, you grant the Lionheart Times permission to share your contribution with the public. This is the Internet. That’s about as public as it gets.
